Asus has introduced a new graphics card ASUS GTX 1060 6 GB STRIX DirectCU II, this time it is a solution characterized by including its classic DirectCu II heatsink that until recently was on the main top-of-the-range cards on the market.

The new ASUS GTX 1060 6 GB STRIX DirectCU II is based on a PCB of smaller dimensions than those based on the DirectCu III heatsink, despite this the card is longer than the heatsink and has a maximum length of 21 cm. It's powered by a single 6-pin power connector, which speaks volumes for the excellent power efficiency of Nvidia's Pascal graphics architecture.
The new ASUS GTX 1060 6 GB STRIX DirectCU II arrives with operating frequencies at its core of 1, 569 MHz and 1, 785 Mhz in base and turbo modes respectively. Thanks to the GPUTweak application it will be easier than ever to further increase its performance by being able to reach 1595/1811 MHz by simply unlocking overclock mode. The GPU is accompanied by a total of 6 GB of GDDR5 memory with a speed of 8 GHz and a 192-bit interface to guarantee its excellent behavior in the most demanding games. Finally we highlight its video outputs 3 x DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, and dual-link DVI. Pricing has not been announced.
