ASUS Launches Strix GL12CX and GL10CS to Market

The company puts both on the market immediately, as has already been confirmed. So if you are interested you can do it with them officially.

Strix GL12CX

A new factory-accelerated, liquid-cooled ROG desktop PC equipped with up to 9th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics. The Strix GL12CX incorporates the most powerful components on the market, starting with the new 9th Gen Intel Core i7-9700K processor, the best processor for gaming. With 8 cores and 8 threads, the new Intel processor is capable of maintaining high framerates while streaming live streams, recording your games, chatting and using other applications.

The Strix GL12CX is available with the best processors. Each CPU undergoes a series of stress tests to ensure it can maintain our factory overclocking. Master Cooler's custom-made liquid cooling system and an additional 90mm fan at the rear take care of controlling processor temperatures, preventing temperature from affecting performance while all cores and threads work at frequencies up to 4, 9 GHz.

The Strix GL12CX features sharp angles on the front and top of the chassis that evoke the marks katanas produce when impacting the armor. Armory Crate software lets you customize RGB lighting that filters through the ventilation inlets and outlets. ASUS Aura Sync technology also enables system lighting to be synchronized with compatible peripherals such as mice, keyboards, and even monitors. Aura Sync can also respond to compatible game scenes and situations like the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Plus, it has an eSports-developed SSD bay that supports hot swapping and hides behind the case's magnetic front cover.. This bay allows quick exchange of profiles and games without having to turn off the system. It also greatly simplifies storage upgrades for all users.

Finally, the Strix GL12CX includes the innovative ASUS DIMM.2 module, which mounts on the system's new Z390 motherboard. This expansion card uses a memory slot and provides two M.2 connections for SSD. And since heat can slow performance, the DIMM.2 has dedicated heat sinks for each SSD. These two additional connections support two NVMe® disk drives and RAID configurations. One can also be used for expansion, while the other can be used to speed up an HDD with Intel Optane memory.

This ASUS model incorporates a complete interface designed to meet the needs of all gamers. In addition to the hot-swap SSD bay, the front panel also includes a 2-in-1 card reader, two USB 3.1 ports, and two USB 2.0. The Strix GL12CX also comes with a DVD disc drive. The back offers a total of six USB ports along with five audio outputs and a digital S / PDIF connector. The 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi card reaches speeds above the Gigabit specification and also includes Bluetooth 5.0 to connect all the latest peripherals in low power mode, connect to more than one device at a time, and connect from further away than before.

Strix GL10CS

The GL10CS is equipped with up to 8- core, 6-core Intel Core i7-9700 processors, capable of handling concurrent workloads such as gaming, streaming, and voice communications with teammates. With up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, the GL10CS can seamlessly move from productivity tasks to the demanding workloads generated by multi-threaded applications commonly used by content creators.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series GPUs provide the necessary graphics power to the GL10CS. Equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card with 8 GB of video memory, the GL10CS offers incredible performance in current popular games like Fortnite and Overwatch, allowing you to enjoy triple digit framerates in FHD resolution. The GL10CS supports all major virtual reality (VR) glasses to experience entirely new environments and experiences.

The GL10CS is equipped with processors and graphics capable of reaching breakneck speeds. To complement these chips, the GL10CS comes with an M2-based NVMe SSD of up to 512GB that provides plenty of storage space and is capable of loading games and applications in no time. And if you have bigger game libraries or need more storage space, the GL10CS is also available with a 1TB 7200rpm mechanical hard drive. Plus, you can speed up this HDD with Intel Optane memory, which caches frequently accessed data to reduce load times and improve responsiveness.

The GL10CS is available with two Gigabit networking technologies. The rear Gigabit Ethernet connection provides a low-latency wired connection for those times when a millisecond makes the difference between winning or losing. The GL10CS also offers blazingly fast Wi-Fi speeds thanks to Intel's 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi card, supporting 2 × 2 MU-MIMO and capable of faster speeds than Gigabit when paired with a compatible router.

ASUS confirms that the two are put up for sale. The GL12 is launched at a price of 2, 499 euros while the other comes with a price from 1, 199 euros. Both are now available in stores.
