Asus Introduces 8x External DVD Burner Sdrw-08d3s

The external DVD burner SDRW-08D3S-U adds the possibility of enjoying DVD content on PC, Smart TV and tablets via USB 2.0 connectivity with AV Function. It is also compatible with Windows, Mac OS and has 256-bit data encryption. Its Zen type finish, light format and the ASUS AVWHERE commitment allow it to be integrated into any home entertainment center in a simple and comfortable way.

Compatible with multiple devices and operating systems

The SDRW-08D3S-U optical drive integrates USB connectivity with AV Function, which allows it to be automatically synchronized with PCs, Smart TVs and tablets. It is, therefore, an ideal unit to complement devices that do not have a dedicated ODD, allowing users to enjoy content wherever they want via their portable devices. To offer greater flexibility, all the functions of this optical drive are fully compatible with Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS.

Ultra-portable Zen design

The SDRW-08D3S-U inherits the Zen design from other ASUS products, with an appearance marked by the in-house concentric finish and piano black accents. Its light format (365g) and compact (20mm thick) allow users to carry it around and use it in a wide range of situations, fundamental requirements of ASUS AVWHERE audiovisual philosophy. This 8X DVD optical drive also has a pedestal that allows it to be positioned vertically or horizontally and, in addition, is powered directly by a USB 2.0 port, so it does not require a dedicated power supply for its operation.
