Asus unveils geforce® gtx 660 ti directcu ii top / oc borderlands® 2 edition graphics

ASUS continues to expand its range of graphics cards with the ASUS GeForce® GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II TOP and ASUS GeForce® GTX 660 Ti OC models. Based on NVIDIA® 28nm architecture, these new graphics offer an excellent balance of functionality, performance and price. They have a factory accelerated GPU to 1137MHz for the TOP version and 1058MHz for the OC. Both versions incorporate DirectCU cooling design, ASUS DIGI + VRM power with Super Alloy Power components and the GPU Tweak interface, technologies that lower temperature and increase reliability and the potential for overclocking. In addition, gamers will also enjoy a copy of the highly anticipated RPG Borderlands® 2 shooter from 2K Games and Gearbox ™ Software.

Accelerated core, 20% higher cooling, noise reduction and precision power

Through rigorous testing, ASUS engineers ensure that the GPUs used in the TOP / OC models offer exceptional qualities for working, by default, at a higher frequency. The TOP version is factory accelerated to 1137MHz (157MHz more than the reference model) and the OC to 1058MHz (78MHz more than the reference model). Another important aspect is the improved durability and reliability of graphics that exclusive ASUS technologies offer. DirectCU, for example, has a cooling system that lowers the temperature by 20%, allowing fans to spin slower and added noise to a minimum. In terms of efficiency, overclocking and stability, ASUS DIGI + VRM precision power and Super Alloy Power components extend the life of graphics even under extreme work scenarios.

GPU Tweak - Control and settings for the GTX 660 Ti

Both models have the ASUS GPU Tweak monitoring and overclocking utility. With an intuitive interface and multiple modes for performance tuning, GPU Tweak allows users to manipulate clock speed and voltages with dedicated profiles for games like Borderlands® 2.
