Asus introduces a new series of ROG Strix power supplies. The two 750W and 650W models are said to be characterized by quiet operation and customizable optics.

ASUS ROG STRIX 650 and 750W will arrive in September

Last year, Asus introduced the amazing high-end ROG Thor power supply with power of up to 1, 200 W. Now the Taiwanese manufacturer is expanding its offering with ROG Strix power supplies for the upper-mid range.

Like Thor, which is eye-catching due to RGB lighting, Asus also opted for cosmetic adaptability in the new models. However, they do not include an integrated display or lighting options, but are limited to fully modular cables, magnetic logos, and "stylish stickers."

ROG Strix power supplies are designed at 650 and 750 W power for high-performance gaming systems and operate as quietly as possible. The new models use the same Thor series heat sink, which aims to dissipate a lot of energy beforehand. For example, the 135mm integrated axial fan will only come into operation when certain loads are exceeded. The fan design appears to be inspired by high-end Strix graphics cards, which are characterized by being particularly durable.

Asus claims to have used only high-quality Japanese capacitors. Both power supplies are also 80 Plus Gold certified and carry a 10-year warranty. The new sources for the ROG Strix series will be available from September for € 159.90 (750W) and € 139.90 (650W).
