SilverStone gives a new impetus to its line of Strider Titanium power supplies with the introduction of new high-power models for users who need a very high-end system with multiple GPUs and high overclocking possibilities.

SilverStone Strider Titanium now with more power

The new SilverStone Strider Titanium offers a maximum output power of 1100W, 1300W and 1500W with an 80 Plus Titanium energy certification that ensures lower consumption and less heat losses. All three units are based on a completely modular design that allows a very clean assembly inside the equipment to achieve a turbulence free air flow and therefore better cooling. These new sources offer more than enough power for the new Core X and Threadripper processors with overclock and together with several very high-end graphics cards. They offer two 8-pin EPS connectors that are divided into 4 + 4 for maximum compatibility.

The best PC power supplies 2017

Inside the SilverStone Strider Titanium we find a unique + 12v rail design with active PFC and the main electrical protection mechanisms to ensure the health of the system in which they are mounted. The manufacturer has managed to put so much power and quality in a size of 180 mm that contrasts with the 220 mm that are typical in high-power sources. All of them include 8 PCIe 6 + 2-pin connectors, 16 SATA connectors and 6 Moles connectors. Cooling is done by a 120mm fan that activates when the load reaches 20%.
