Shortly after the announcement of the Swift PG35VQ, ASUS has unveiled three new gaming monitors within the Strix range that will feature AMD's FreeSync technology. While the first Strix model was unveiled at CES 2017 under the name Strix XG27VQ, the company has now unveiled details on the other models in the range. Below we reveal all the details about them.

Strix XG32V

The Strix XG32V is the largest model in the range, with a 31.5-inch IPS screen and a WQHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and an 1800R curve that should give you a greater field of view.

On the other hand, this model can handle refresh rates of up to 144 GHz and has FreeSync support. In terms of connectivity, there are two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, one HDMI 2.0 input and several USB 3.0 ports.

Like other gaminmg monitors, ASUS has added Aura Sync lighting to the XG32V, so there will be a ROG logo that will glow at the bottom on the desktop, but also a rear panel with RGB LEDs that can be synchronized with other components. and PC peripherals with support for Aura Sync.

Strix XG27V

The Strix XG27V is a model that shares the 1800R curvature of the XG32V, but its size is only 27 inches with a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). In addition, this model also brings a 144GHz refresh rate and FreeSync support. Also, there is no support for Aura Sync and no RGB lighting either.

In terms of connectivity, the Strix XG27V offers a Displayport input, an HDMI input and a DVI-D port.

Strix XG258

Finally, the Strix XG258 is the smallest of all, with a 24.5-inch Full HD display, a refresh rate of up to 240 GHz, Aura RGB lighting without Aura Sync support, and two DisplayPort 1.2 ports, two HDMI inputs (including one HDMI 2.0).

For now, the prices of the new monitors are not known, although it is known that they will be available from the third quarter of this year.
