Asus will downgrade their motherboards
The Taiwanese newspaper The Economic Daily News announces that the manufacturer Asus is preparing a reduction of the price of its motherboards by between 5 and 10%.
Apparently the only reason for the reduction is to try to better compete in the market with other major motherboard manufacturers such as Gigabyte, ASRock and MSI. Gigabyte, Asus' main rival in the sale of motherboards, hopes to close the year with the shipment of 20 million motherboards, while Asus seeks to close it with the shipment of 22.1 million.
That said, Asus seeks to steal market share from its rivals to distance itself from them in volume of plates sold globally.
