ASUS introduces the brand new new generation ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha and Rampage VI Extreme Omega motherboards. Almost identical twins based on the AMD X399 and Intel X299 platforms, these EATX monsters are loaded with PCIe slots for multi-GPU configurations and NVMe slots for RAID SSDs.

AMD X399 and Intel X299 chipsets take advantage of the abundant cores and bandwidth available in high-end desktop processors to provide unmatched performance for content creators and performance enthusiasts. Both motherboards were updated at the same time to add the fastest CPUs in the Threadripper and Core X series.

The AMD-based Zenith Extreme Alpha and Intel-based Rampage VI Extreme Omega are two sides of the same coin, bringing the same cutting-edge features and distinctive aesthetics to AMD and Intel platforms.

Both motherboards can run on dual three-slot graphics cards with 16 full lanes of bandwidth each, and have built-in heatsinks for at least three M.2 SSDs.
