Asus is still trying to grab a slice of the hotly contested smartphone market and has unveiled a new terminal featuring a 4-core Intel processor and a whopping 4GB of RAM.

The new Asus Zenfone 2 is built with a brushed aluminum chassis and mounts a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution for perfect image quality. Inside it houses a powerful Intel Atom Z3560 / Z3580 processor consisting of four Silvermont 64-bit and 22nm cores with great energy efficiency. The use of said processor has allowed Asus to equip its smartphone with 4 GB of RAM in Dual Chanel, being the first to reach such a figure, so its fluidity and multitasking performance will be enviable. Regarding its internal storage there will be 16GB, 32GB and 64GB expandable versions and 5 GB of storage in WebStorage.

The Zenfone 2 optics are not far behind with a 13-megapixel main sensor with PixelMaster technology to capture more light and f / 2.0 aperture, it is also equipped with a dual LED flash configuration to allow good captures in low-light situations. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera for video conferencing and selfies.

Regarding its battery, it mounts a 3, 000 mAh unit with a fast charge function that allows it to charge 60% in just 39 minutes so as to never leave the house with just enough energy.

Finally it will arrive with the Android 5 Lollipop operating system with Asus Zen UI customization and 4G LTE WiFi Direct, NFC and A-GPS / GLONASS connectivity.

Despite having cutting-edge specifications, it will come at a contained price since we can acquire the version with 2 GB of RAM, Z3560 and 16 GB of storage for $ 199, however the price of the version with 4 GB of RAM is not yet known.
