Asus zenfone 3 deluxe: the first phone with snapdragon 821

Yesterday Qualcomm announced its new top-of-the-range mobile processor, the Snapdragon 821, a revision of the famous Snapdragon 820 to offer greater performance. The first phone that will have this processor will be the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe.

What are the changes to Snapdragon 821?

Qualcomm has maintained the same structure as the Snapdragon 820 with its 4-core Kryo core and 16nm manufacturing process. The GPU 530 Adreno also remains unchanged in the Snapdragon 821, the main difference lies in the rise in frequencies.

The Snapdragon 821 raises the frequencies of the clusters of the Snapdragon 820 from 2.16 to 2.4GHz and from 1.6 to 2GHz, this is a fairly significant increase in frequencies, which would allow it to perform better in every way.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe: The first phone with Snapdragon 821

The phone will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the latest version of ZenUI.

To have such a bug in the hands with an elegant design had to cost its price, Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe is going to be marketed for $ 780 and will launch during the month of August first in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
