ASUS is another major manufacturer that is present at CES giving news in the technology sector, this time with the world's lightest laptop, the AsusPro B9440.

AsusPro B9440 weighs only 1.04 kilograms

In the Chinese giant's own words, AsusPro B9440 is the lightest professional laptop in the world, weighing just 1.04 kilograms, beating the current MacBook Air, which has 1.08 kilograms for the 11-inch model.

AsusPro B9440 has a 12.6-inch Full-HD screen and its low weight is due to the material with which its chassis is made, which is made of magnesium alloy. Internally, the ASUS option comes with the possibility of adding an Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 processor, about 16GB of maximum RAM, 512GB SSD and a battery sufficient for 10 hours of autonomy.

If the concern is the quality of the materials of the 'lightest laptop in the world' , it must be said that the magnesium chassis passes the MIL-STD 810G tests, making it resistant to shocks and drops.

As for connectivity, it comes with a USB Type-C port, another USB 3.1 port, HDMI, a fingerprint sensor, and a microSD card reader, ideal for increasing storage size.
