Xiaomi chooses the type of network it creates best and chooses: "LTE / TD-SCDMA / UMTS" and this network with Lowi at least does not work very well. Since it makes the terminal consume more data because it believes that it does not have a good signal. This usually happens in places without coverage, which drains the battery very quickly…

Now we detail how to fix it, but beware, we will have to do this every time we restart the terminal.

To solve it we must go to settings -> on the phone -> press several times on internal storage and a hidden menu will open.

We will go to information on phone1 and information on phone2. Since it is SIM 1 and SIM 2 of our Xiaomi Mi 9 (this failure is also compatible with other devices).

We see that the LTE / TD-SCDMA / UMTS option is selected, since it is a network that is not going well for us, it is recommended to change for one of these two:

• LTE / UMTS auto (PRL) LTE / WCDMA

At the moment we have tried both and we are doing better with LTE / WCDMA. We have managed to remove more than 5 hours and a quarter of screen from the terminal with intensive use and it already reaches the day and a half easily.
