DICE shared the official Battlefield V PC system requirements. The requirements for normal gaming are quite similar to what we have already seen for the Alpha test, but now they have added what are the requirements to be able to play it with the DXR effects activated on RTX graphics cards.

These are the official requirements for Battlefield V

If we see what are the recommended requirements to play it with DXR (Ray Tracing) effects, Battlefield V is asking for a Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 7 2700 processor. Memory requirements also go up to 16GB, and of course at least a GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card.

Recommended Specifications for DXR

  • OS: Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809) 64 bit

CPU (AMD): AMD Ryzen 7 2700

    CPU (Intel): Intel Core i7-8700

    Memory: 16GB RAM

Graphics Card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® RTX 2070

    Storage: 50GB

Recommended Specifications (Non-DXR)

  • OS: Windows 10 64 bit

CPU (AMD): AMD Ryzen 3 1300X

CPU (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent

    Memory: 12GB RAM

Graphics Card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Graphics Card (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB

    Storage: 50GB

Minimum specifications

  • OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 64 bit

    Processor (AMD): AMD FX-8350

    Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K

    Memory: 8GB RAM

    Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1050 / NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 660 2GB

    Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon ™ RX 560 / HD 7850 2GB

    Storage: 50GB

To play without the DXR effects, it seems like the specs don't stray too far from Battlefield 1 released two years ago.

Battlefield V will be available on November 20 with its massive multiplayer mode and single player campaign. It was also recently confirmed that the Battle Royale mode called Firestorm will arrive in March of next year.
