On Biostar's official Twitter, a single image was posted showing the silhouette of a new company motherboard coming soon. Of course, we are talking about the Intel LGA 1200 socket models as there is nothing pending at AMD at the moment.

In the image we see the area that is illuminated and Biostar places great emphasis on the RGB present on the motherboard. The brand remains elusive in terms of the visual improvements made, but the VRM heatsink appears to have been largely redesigned, with a boost going towards the audio components. You can also see the presence of a reinforcement in the first PCI-E 16x slot, an element that I already presented in the current cards of the brand.

To be precise, we do not know if the motherboard proposed by Biostar is really from the Z490 series, but it is clearly a new board from Intel. Whatever it is, it might seem like Biostar is gearing up for the launch of the Comet Lake-S. The number of leaks from the Intel Core 10 series has been overwhelming this week, just before CES 2020. One could assume that this is likely due to the fact that Intel could show the new series at that event.
