Biostar presents the second x570 motherboard of the mATX type made for Ryzen 3000 . It will be called the Racing X570GT and will be a somewhat more modest alternative to high-end boards.

The Biostar Racing X570GT motherboard

The Micro-ATX (mATX) denomination does not give up and continues to fight. It is not particularly popular, but it has marked its territory between ATX and mini-ATX standards and now maintains a good number of users.

The Racing X570GT will be a compact version with less functionality than what we are used to seeing in an X570. However, it will have all the basic functionalities that define this line of motherboards.

Among its most notable features we will have:

  • A 7-phase VRM to ensure stable operation. Support for 128GB of 4000MHz DDR4 DRAM . All this separated into 4 possible memories. A reinforced PCIe Gen 4 × 16 port for graphics cards. A slot for M.2-2280 SSDs with a PCIe Gen 4 × 4 interface. Four SATA connectors with RAID 0, 1, 10.Two PCIe Gen 3 × 1 ports.

Regarding connectivity, the board has a GbE port (controlled by the Realtek RTL8111G chip and with support for Biostar protection against overloads and others), four USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 2.0, one PS2 port , two ports of video (D-Sub and HDMI) and a 7.1 audio channel jack . We will also have a 12V RGB LED and a 5V Digital LED to control lighting, fans, memories and more.

Unfortunately, we will not have support for other technologies that do not mount the board such as Wi-Fi or USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) . In exchange, its price will be somewhat cheaper, so it could be a good purchase for gamers with modest, but powerful builds.

We do not have a release date or price, but we expect it to come out in the near future (late 2019 or early 2020) and at a much more modest price (around € 80-100) .

How much would you pay for the Racing X570GT ? Would you buy a mATX if you were only gaming? Comment your ideas in the comment box.
