BIOSTAR, a well-known motherboard manufacturer, is launching its own RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 graphics cards.

BIOSTAR Launches RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT Cards with Reference Models

AMD's RDNA architecture is a completely new GPU design that debuts in the Radeon RX 5700 series. Plus, AMD's new series brings a 50% performance-per-watt advantage over AMD's previous GCN architecture.

The two graphics cards announced here use the reference model, and are not customized by BIOSTAR. This means that the RX 5700 XT maintains its silhouette design at the top, which is giving so much to talk about.

Specifications of both models

BIOSTAR promotes these graphics cards to play at 1440p, which seems to be true because these graphics are compared to the RTX 2060 and RTX 2070. GDDR6 memory is used which provides a bandwidth of up to 448 GB / s. The XT model can reach frequencies of 1905MHz. The non-XT model reaches 1725MHz.

Connections include three DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0b display output with HDR support. Thanks to Display Stream Compression 1.2a, the Radeon RX5700 series is 8K HDR ready and also supports 4K HDR displays up to 120Hz.

Both BIOSTAR graphics cards should already be available in stores and if not, their availability should be imminent. It is unknown if BIOSTAR plans to release custom graphics cards in the future.
