Bioware's lead producer Ben Irving presented a live stream yesterday to reveal the studio's priorities for bug fixes and to preview some of the new features coming to the game, including DLSS graphics technology.

Bioware will add DLSS technology to Anthem

The first good news coming out of the live stream is that, as requested by the community, with the following patch (released on March 12), players will be able to launch Expeditions from anywhere in Fort Tarsis, even when not are grouped with others. Second, the update will reintroduce the option to "beef up" other Stronghold teams through Quickplay, and Irving said they would like to add even more additional rewards for Quickplay Strongholds.

Bioware is also currently studying how to make the difficulties of 'Grand Master 2' and 'Grand Master 3' more rewarding than they are. Last but not least, Irving confirmed that support for NVIDIA's DLSS (Deep Learning Super-Sampling) technology is on the way, though he was unable to provide additional information as to when we will see it in action.

DLSS is only compatible with Turing graphics cards

DLSS is a new technology implemented in those Turing graphics cards with which the edges of the images can be filtered using Artificial Intelligence, being more efficient than other antialising methods such as TAA.

Anthem launched last February with mixed reviews from video game magazines and gamers, highlighting its gameplay and graphics, but criticizing its lack of content and loading screens.
