Razer introduced the world's first 'gaming' smartphone, but could very soon have a competitor, Xiaomi's Black Shark.

Xiaomi Black Shark will use the powerful Snapdragon 845

Although the Black Shark smartphone had already been released some time ago on Internet portals, Xiaomi was not officially the owner until now. This is going to be the first Xiaomi phone thinking about gamers, and it is expected to become a new series focused solely on 'gaming'.

Many details are already known about the upcoming Black Shark smartphone and it is expected to be more powerful than the one presented by Razer. The phone will be powered by the eight-core Snapdragon 845 chipset. This powerful Qualcomm chip will be accompanied by about 8 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The 32GB of internal storage seems a bit low, so we're assuming it will have a microSD memory slot (not confirmed yet).

The screen will be Full HD + with a resolution of 2, 160 x 1, 080. The size of the screen is not yet known, but considering that it is a 'gaming' Smartphone, it will surely be large to better appreciate games. The phone will run Android 8.0 Oreo, but we don't know if Xiaomi's MIUI OS will be installed on it, or will use a different skin. The phone recently scored a score of 270, 680 on AnTuTu, which is one of the best scores yet with the Snapdragon 845 chip.

Xiaomi's Black Shark would be presented on April 13.
