This same week it was revealed that MediaTek was not going to launch its P70 processor, but were going to jump directly to the P80 and P90, the launch of which will occur shortly. The new MediaTek processors are an evolution of the P60, which is intended for the mid-range. The Blackview BV9700 will be the first phone on the market to use one of these new processors.
These MediaTek P80 and P90 are expected to be competitors of Snapdragon 720, although in their case, they will be 25% cheaper, something that will allow manufacturers to reduce costs and offer models with much more competitive prices at all times.
We do not have a release date for these processors, or the Blackview BV7900. Everything indicates that it will be at the beginning of next year when this will happen, but we hope to have data soon. Since surely both brands tell us more about this collaboration.
