Htc will use 4 and 8 core mediatek processors to offer competitive prices

The HTC company is on a losing streak . Nomura Securities, one of the main Asian investment houses, recently published a report explaining the changes that the company is willing to take to get out of the slump in which it is stuck. They are divided into four parts that we proceed to list below:

• Supply chain management and sales responsibility will be assumed by President Wang, while product development will be handled by the company's CEO, Chou.

• A portion of HTC's production will be outsourced to Foxconn and Winstron.

• Since the problem is mainly focused on the low and mid-range models, a reduction in costs will be carried out, which would occur thanks to the use of MediaTek chipsets, while for the higher range a SoC-based terminal will be launched MediaTek MT6592, the first of 8 real cores to appear on the market. These devices will reach the foreign market.

HTC will take the example of Sony and its Xperia C model, a mid-range phone based on a MediaTek SoC and which has been very well received by users, as reflected in its number of sales.
