How to download intel chipset driver 【step by step】

Method # 1: Download chipset driver from Intel page

This is the method we always recommend, because it is better to download programs from the official pages. With that said, let's explain it.

We know that many do not know what chipset you have, but you do not have to worry because Intel summarizes the process in a simple way. Even so, we recommend that you investigate what hardware you have because it is always useful to know. For this purpose, you can download Speccy or CPU-Z, two programs that give us all the information on our computer.

We will summarize the process in the following steps.

We will go to the Intel Download Center. As you can see in the image below, we have different sections. We will go to “Chipsets”

In Chipset Downloads , it is important that you know the generation of your processor, the operating system and the version you have (32 bits or 64 bits). Pay attention to the Description, OS, Version and Date columns . As a tip, try to download the latest possible chipset driver version so that it doesn't get out of date in no time. If you want only a specific file, you can search it.
Once you click on the version that interests you, another page will appear where you can see in detail which Intel chipsets are compatible, such as what generation of processors are.
You give the "Download" button on the left and you will download a zip file. You extract it and you will get 2 folders and 2 PDF files. Access the "Corp" folder and you will see three other folders. Inside each one we have an installation file, so proceed to install them all. Once installed, you may be asked to restart your PC at some point. You do it if you want or you can so that the changes take effect and we will be finished.

Method # 2: use third party software

There is the possibility of downloading a program that is responsible for downloading the latest drivers for our computer's drivers, such as the GPU, processor, chipset, audio, etc. drivers.
