• Make a backup of all the data you store in iCloud. Download any purchase that does not contain DRM, iTunes Match songs that you do not have copies of, and any other music or content. How to delete or deactivate your Apple account

10. Enter the access code to confirm that you have received it. Then select Continue.

11. Review the list of important details once again and select Delete account.

On the screen, Apple will confirm that it is working on deleting your account; It will also send you an email. The process can take up to seven days, during which period your account will remain active and you can back out.

In the event that you do not want to delete your account but temporarily deactivate your Apple ID, you must follow exactly the same steps indicated, except that, in step 4, you must choose the option "Deactivate your account".
