How to create a multi-boot usb with multiple linux distributions
Table of contents:
Creating a USB to start our computer with a Linux distribution can be very interesting for users, we have many tools for this purpose and many of them even allow us to add various distributions so that we can choose the one that interests us most. In this tutorial we are going to show you how to create a multi-boot USB with various Linux distributions using the free Yumi tool.
Learn how to create a pendrive with various Linux distributions
First of all we need to download Yumi in its latest version, for this we just have to go to the website of this great tool.
Once we have the tool we have to download the Linux distributions that interest us, in this case we are going to choose Ubuntu and Antergos which are two excellent options for all users.
Download Ubuntu
Download Antergos
The third element that we need is logically a pendrive, if we are going to put two distributions or more we recommend a unit of at least 8 GB.
Ubuntu 17.04: All the improvements and new features
Once we have everything we can only open Yumi and proceed, this tool is portable so we do not need to install it. Once open we have to select our USB stick and the distribution to install. If we look at the available options we will see that we are not shown in the Prevgos, then what we do is select Archlinux which is the distribution on which Prentgos is based and check the option "show all ISOSs". After that we click on " Browse " and we can already search and select the ISO image that we have downloaded before.
After that we will see that everything is correct and we can now proceed to install the distribution on our flash drive, click on " Create"
A message will appear that warns us that all the data on the flash drive will be destroyed, we accept and let the application work.
When it finishes click on “ Next “
It will ask us if we want to add more systems to the pendrive, we say " Yes"
We will return to the previous window, this time we select Ubuntu in the menu of systems to install and look for the ISO, as Ubuntu if it is in the list it is not necessary that we check the option to show all the ISOs as before. We must make sure NOT to MARK now the option to format the pendrive.
We repeat the previous procedure and when asked if we want to add more systems we say " No ".
With this we already have the pendrive with the Prevgos and Ubuntu systems installed, the next step is to restart the computer and boot from the pendrive, this already depends on the manufacturer of the motherboard, although generally to access the boot menu we must repeatedly press F12 when we turn on the computer and before Windows starts to boot.
We will get a menu like this:
Appimage: Linux applications that run on different distributions
AppImage is a command that allows us to run applications between different Linux distributions. Very useful for users who try a lot.

Microsoft removes Windows 10 S compatibility with GNU / Linux distributions for security reasons, you will not be able to install them.
