How to uninstall apps on apple watch

If you've installed too many apps on your Apple Watch, the Home screen on your watch may become too cluttered with icons. If you haven't uninstalled an app yet and want to, you should know that there are two ways to do it.

How to uninstall apps on Apple Watch

Method 1. The first way to uninstall applications is directly from the Home screen of the watch. Click on the digital crown to access the Home screen and drag your finger around the screen until you find the icon of the app you want to delete. Click and hold your finger on the icon.

The Home screen will enter edit mode. All applications that can be removed will have a small "X" button in the upper left part of the icon.

Click the "X" button on the icon of the app you want to delete. There are also some standard apps on the device that cannot be removed, such as the configuration tools, alarms, timer, stopwatch and maps.

After clicking on the "X", a confirmation message will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the selected app. Click on “remove app”.

Please note that the application will not be removed from your iPhone, but only from the watch.

Method 2. If you find it difficult to click the small “X” button on the Home screen of the watch to delete an app, you can also do it using the Watch application on the iPhone.

To do this, click on the “Watch” app icon on your phone's Home screen and make sure you see the My Watch window. If you don't see it, click the “My watch” icon at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll through the list of apps on the My Watch screen until you find the app you want to remove.

When you find the desired application, click on it and deactivate the "Show app on Apple Watch" button. In this way, the application will be removed from your watch.

A temporary message will appear while the application is uninstalled and the button moves to the left and turns black.
