Today we want to talk to you about Google Wi-Fi, Google's powerful and promising router. Already in its day we talk about Google Wi-Fi, its features, specifications and price, because of course it is not wasted. If you want to know how Google Wi-Fi works and if it is worth buying, today we are going to tell you.

What is Google Wi-Fi and how does it work?

What is Google Wi-Fi? It is a modular router system that aims to achieve unbeatable Wi-Fi connectivity at home. It is mainly focused on buying in pairs, because for a house, buying a router is enough. But if you already have a medium house, you are going to need two of these, and for a large house with several floors, 3 Google router units and so on.

Nowadays, living connected is no longer an option, and the internet goes bad at home even paying fiber optics, it is something that we do not have to continue tolerating. Although its price is high, keep in mind that it is paid once and enjoyed forever. Google Wi-Fi not only improves Wi-Fi signal and speed, but also performance. But for this, you have to find the perfect place to place it inside the home, of course.

This makes operation the easiest in the world. You will only need an application to control Google Wi-Fi. You will even be able to create a guest network, change a Wi-Fi or do everything you never thought you could do.

Google Wi-Fi initial setup

The Google guys themselves posted a video of the initial Google Wi-Fi setup so you know how to do it successfully. In the video, we can see 3 Google Wi-Fi along with the network and power cables:

The steps are basically:

  • Download the Google Wi-Fi app in the Play Store. Sign up with your Google account. Connect the power cable and the Internet. A blue light will appear to start the initial configuration. Define location / network name. Connect the dots access network (the app will guide you at all times so don't worry).

As a curiosity, Google recommends placing them every 2 rooms to get the best performance. But you will not have to worry, because the process to follow is fast and almost automatic.

Is it worth buying the Google Wi-Fi? If you need it, of course. The bad part is that Google Wi-Fi is only sold in the US (at least for now).
