How do we know if our board is revision b3?
Those of us who have been affected by motherboards with the P67 B2 chipset, and have performed our RMA, have wondered if the motherboard really was a B3 or a B2, and how could we identify it. We are going to make a brief summary to identify if the board has the new chip.
1º) In the box on the label we see that it says B3:
2º) In the first normal PCI port we see a label that identifies it as B3:
3º) To make sure that the labels do not fail, in the BIOS menu. It should appear in MAIN–> South Bridge Steppein as: B3 Stepping. In the following image we can see it:
