Canonical releases ubuntu 17.04 '' zesty zapus '' final beta (link with iso)

Ubuntu 17.04 Beta 2 has already been released by Canonical on the scheduled day. Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus reaches the Beta 2 version, with the intention of continuing to polish the system before its final version, which is expected on April 13.

Ubuntu 17.04 Beta 2 available without Gnome 3.24

One of the managers of Canonical, Adam Conrad, has announced the arrival of Ubuntu 17.04 Beta 2, after the freezing of the version on the past 21 of this month.

Some of the news that we find in this version is that Gnome 3.24 will not be present in the official repositories of Ubuntu 17.04 but it will be in Ubuntu Gnome.

During the last months there were particular changes in the development of this version and the flavors that accompany it. Many distros outside the official have not taken into account the release schedule for their new versions. That is why we see Gnome 3.24 in Ubuntu Gnome and not in the official version.

What will be present in this version is the new default calendar, with the possibility of dragging and dropping events to reschedule them.

Ubuntu 17.04 Beta 2 is powered by Kernel 4.10, currently the most advanced stable Kernel. This new Kernel enables better hardware compatibility, improved performance and power consumption, which laptops benefit directly from.
