Siri Suggestions are a helpful tool. On many occasions Siri offers us to add a contact on the lock screen, use some of the latest applications, create a new tweet, view a certain album in Photos and much more, based on our uses, history and preferences. However, are all of these suggestions really helpful to us?
Siri Suggestions: yes, but well managed
The problem presented by the Siri Suggestions that by default are activated for all the applications that we have activated on our iPhone or iPad. However, users can activate and deactivate the suggestions for specific applications and thus have only the Siri Suggestions that really interest us and are useful to us.
In addition, when we make these changes, they will be available on all the devices that we have activated under the same Apple ID, so we will only have to activate or deactivate the suggestions on one or our devices.
To activate and deactivate Siri Suggestions, simply follow these steps:
- First of all, open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Select the Notifications option. Now tap Siri Tips.
On this screen you will see a list with all the applications installed on your iPhone or iPad, arranged according to alphabetical criteria. Next to each of them you will also see a slider. As we said, by default, these suggestions are activated, so all you have to do is click on the slider to deactivate the Siri Suggestions of a certain app.
If you change your mind later, just follow the steps indicated, pressing the slider in question again to activate this function.
