Intel Bay trail is the new energy efficient platform of the blue giant. In it we find the new generation of Intel Atom 2013 processors, which wants to expand in the mobile sector: tablets, netbook, notebook and smartphone. Although our biggest surprise is found in the incorporation of the Pentium and Celeron processors in this new architecture.

Intel has divided its Bay Trail range into four divisions

Bay trail-M dedicated to notebooks and netbooks. Where the most powerful processor is the Pentium N3510 that will have four cores at 2000 mhz and a graphics card at 750mh and a consumption of 4.5 to 7.5W.

• Celeron N2805 has 2 1.46 GHz processors and an integrated 750 MHz GPU card, 2.5-4.5W TDP.

  Celeron N2810 has 2 processors at 2.00 GHz, integrated 750 MHz GPU card, 4.5-7.5W TDP. Celeron N2910 has 4 processors at 1.60 GHz, integrated 750 MHz GPU card, 4.5- 7.5W TDP. Pentium N3510 has 4 processors at 2.00 GHz, integrated GPU card at 750 MHz, 4.5-7.5W TDP.

Bay trail-D designed for computers and miniPCs. The Pentium J2850 is the most powerful with 4 cores at 2410 mhz and an integrated graphics card up to 792 mhz and a maximum consumption of 10W. Due to its characteristics it can be the perfect ally for a SilentPC or small home server.

Bay trail-I for the industrial segment market. In this division we have from one nucleus to four. The most powerful is the E3840 with four cores, 1910 mhz and an integrated graphics card at 792Mhz, which also does not exceed 10W of consumption…

Finally we have the Bay trail-T for tablets and all in one. That no characteristics are known. What we do know is that the Atom Z will be made up of four SoC cores, as we have seen in the previous models and we think: they will be a low-consumption processor, none of which rises above 8w and with quite interesting power for all profiles.

They also anticipate that the new Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron processors based on the 4th generation Intel Haswell will finally arrive on September 1. We are surprised because Intel made this range of processors appear very late, it seems that they realized the error and do not want to sin again.
