Intel clover trail systems will never update to windows 10 creators update

A few days ago we learned that the Windows 10 Creators Update was causing problems on some computers based on Intel Clover Trail processors. These processors are found in many low-cost equipment that were sold between 2012 and 2015, so in principle, many users have been affected by this problem. These computers meet the requirements for Windows 10, but the decision seems to have been made to never allow updates.

Intel Clover Trail will never see the Windows 10 Creators Update

Initially, the possibility that the problem was punctual and related to a specific reason, for example a bug in the update that did not allow its application to detect these specific processors, was considered. Microsoft has announced that Intel Clover Trail processor-based computers will only receive security updates, and not additional features, until 2023.

The reason behind the GPU licensed by Imagination Technologies that use these processors, Intel is not able to update the drivers to support the Windows 10 Creators Update and Imagination Technologies is not for the work of doing so. So these processors will never see the mentioned update.

In this situation, an important question arises, while the Anniversary Edition update has LTSB support, the C reator's Update only has 18 months of support, so it could be the case that there are teams that make the leap to the latter version but do not update to the future Windows 10 Fall Update. This would leave many systems without receiving updates after 18 months . Obsolescence scheduled?
