Market-leading Chromebook maker Acer launches a new compact desktop PC based on the Chrome OS operating system.

The specifications of the new Chromebox CX1 are made up of an Intel Celeron 2957U processor based on the Intel Haswell microarchitecture, 16 GB of internal memory and an SD card reader that supports a maximum of 32 GB. It has four USB 3.0 ports (two of them rear and the other two front), HDMI, DisplayPort, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and an Ethernet output.

The Acer Chromebox CXI will be available next month with two configurations differentiated by the amount of memory they integrate, the CXI-2GKM with 2 GB of RAM for $ 179.99 and the CXI-4GKM with 4 GB of RAM for 219.99 Dollars. Includes keyboard and mouse.
