During the month of January, a 2-in-1 tablet was presented that drew a lot of attention at CES 2017, the Chuwi Hi13, which will be the top of the range solution for the Chuwi brand.

Chuwi Hi13 is an inexpensive variant of the Surface Book

Chuwi Hi13 is a new 13.5-inch tablet with a 3000 x 2000 resolution and a 3: 2 ratio, characteristics identical to what we can find in Microsoft's Surface Book. The processor will be an Intel Apollo Lake Celeron N3450, which features a ninth-generation Graphics 500 GPU. This processor allows 50% more performance than Cherry Trail-based processors.

The amount of memory would be 4GB of DDR3L RAM and about 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using microSD cards.

As for connectivity and extras, we find a USB-C port that supports audio and video transmission, another USB 2.0 port, a microSD slot and an HDMI output. We can also see a Dual Band Wi-Fi connection and a 5-megapixel dual camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

Available on February 20 for 350 euros

The 10, 000 mAh battery is probably one of the highlights of the Chuwi Hi13, which supports fast charging via the USB-C connector. We do not know exactly how many hours of autonomy a battery of this size would be allowing, greater than that of the Surface Book, since its specifications are much more modest than the Microsoft option, but they should far exceed 12 hours.

With the purchase of the Chuwi Hi13, a stylus (HiPen H3) is also added, specially designed to take advantage of the tactile possibilities of the screen and the Windows 10 operating system.

Chuwi Hi13 will be available in stores from February 20 and will be priced at around $ 369 (approximately 350 euros).
