Cogent announces a system embedded with an apu amd kabini
Embedded solutions maker Cogent Computer Systems has announced a new model in its CSB17xx product series based on an AMD Kabini APU, specifically the AMD GX-420CA 2.0GHz model consisting of 4 x86 cores at a frequency of 2 GHz and the AMD Radeon HD 8400E graphics.
The new CSB1790 embedded system is built around Cougar's own MXM-2 shape format which is 75 x 75 x 11.2mm in size and allows access to all the AMD APU functions and features. It allows a maximum of 16GB of DDR3L-1600 RAM and the installation of an M.2 format SSD. It also features two SATA III 6.0 Gbps ports, one Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0.
