How to create local user account in windows 10 step by step

It is very important to create a Local user account in Windows, since when you update your PC to Windows 10 or simply start using your computer with the pre-installed operating system, Microsoft uses your email and information to synchronize it with your other services , and as a consequence, make it more efficient and rewarding, and easier to use your PC.

It should be noted that the company does this to maintain its data and have its user information, so we must take this issue quite seriously.

Create Local user account in Windows

But you can make use of a local Windows 10 account which comes by default in the operating system, in order to keep your data and information safe, using a local account, communication between your computer, online services and of the cloud are slower or non-existent due to lack of synchronization between your accounts, you will not have to enter your password every time you log in and you can remain anonymous since Microsoft will not know your information.

Step 1: You will have to go to " Change account settings " then go to " Family and other users " and use the option " add a new person ".

Step 2: On the next screen they will ask you to enter the email of the new person, but at the bottom you will press the option that says " the person I want to add does not have an email address ".

Step 3: Now you will see a screen where you must fill in the information of the new user, but instead of doing what was said, you will use the option " Add user without Microsoft account " in the lower area, since we want a local account and not a normal user with all its cloud services / hotmail / etc…

Step 4: In this new screen where you only have to enter the name you want for your local account and put a password on it, click on the “next” option and that will be it, you will already have your Local account to give you the use of your preference without linking with any of your previously added accounts.
