Comparison: bq aquaris e5 4g vs motorola moto e 2015
We continue with our comparisons between smartphones, this time we are going to compare the BQ Aquaris E5 4G with the recently announced second-generation Motorola Moto E, a terminal greatly improved in its characteristics compared to its first that already enjoyed great popularity as it was one of the best performing options in its price range.
Technical characteristics:
Screens: In this first point we already found a clear difference between the two terminals and in favor of the device from the Spanish firm BQ. The Motorola Moto E 2015 mounts a 4.5-inch screen with an IPS panel with a tight resolution of 960 x 540 pixels resulting in a density of 245 ppi, a figure that is not bad but quite just for the times. For its part, the BQ Aquaris E5 4G mounts a 5-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, resulting in a density of 296 ppi, figures much higher than those of its rival.
Processors: Regarding the processor, both terminals are exactly identical with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, manufactured in 28nm and consisting of four 64-bit Cortex A53 cores at a frequency of 1.2 GHz and the Adreno 306 GPU. It certainly does not stand out for its power, but it is capable of offering very satisfactory performance for most users. Both Smartphones have 1 GB of RAM to guarantee an excellent fluidity in their Android operating system, in the case of the Moto E it comes directly with Lollipop while the BQ will have to wait a bit and for now it complies with Android 4.4 KitKat. A version of the Moto E 2015 will also be released with a 32-bit Snapdragon 200 processor consisting of four 1.2 GHz Coretx A7 cores and the Adreno 302 GPU.
Cameras: Regarding the optics of the terminals, we found a significant difference in the main camera and in favor of the BQ terminal, which has a main camera with a 13-megapixel sensor with autofocus and LED flash capable of recording video at a resolution of 1080p. For its part, the Moto E 2015 is satisfied with an 8 megapixel sensor without LED flash capable of recording at 720p. As for the front camera, the differences are again in favor of BQ with a 5 megapixel sensor versus the VGA sensor in the case of Motorola.
Designs: Both BQ and Motorola have chosen to manufacture their terminals with a plastic chassis that sports a good quality finish. We found a difference in favor of BQ and that is that the Spanish brand allows you to remove the battery from your smartphone as opposed to Motorola, which does not allow you to remove the battery. Regarding its dimensions, the Moto E 2015 has a more compact size with dimensions of 129.9 mm high x 66.8 mm wide x 12.3 mm thick compared to 143.15 mm high x 72.15 mm wide x 8.7mm thick BQ.
Connectivity: In this section we have a tie when offering the two 4G LTE devices. In addition, both have 3G, A-GPS, WiFi 802.11a / b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0 and lack NFC.
Internal memories: Regarding their internal storage capacity, both terminals offer the possibility of expanding their internal storage using a microSD card. The Moto E 2015 is only available in 8GB version while the BQ Aquaris E5 4G is available in 8GB and 16GB versions
WE RECOMMEND YOU Redmi will not use a retractable camera in its high rangeBatteries: the one of the BQ Aquaris E5 4G presents a much higher capacity than that of the Moto E 2015, with 2850 mAh and 2390 mAh respectively, so presumably the BQ terminal will have a greater autonomy.
Availability and price:
The Motorola Moto E 2015 will be sold for approximately 130 euros while the BQ Aquaris E5 4G can be found for slightly higher than 199 euros in its 8 GB storage version and 219 euros in the 16 GB version.
