Comparison: doogee voyager dg 300 vs bq aquaris 5 hd
Table of contents:
After today's morning comparison where we exposed the characteristics between the Doogee Voyager DG 300 and the BQ Aquaris 5, we bring you on this desktop one of the brothers of the Spain brand, the BQ Aquaris 5 HD, which, as its own name indicates, takes a leap in terms of the resolution of its screen, keeping the rest of its characteristics practically the same with the original model. Of the Chinese model we can say little that it has not been said already, but better in case we have any misadventure out there, start reading this article and finish with your doubts:
Technical characteristics:
Screen: both terminals have a 5-inch screen, although they differ in terms of resolution, being HD 1280 x 720 pixels in the case of the Aquaris and 960 x 540 pixels in the case of the Doogee. They do share IPS technology, which gives them very bright colors and a wide viewing angle. The display of the Spain brand has Gorilla Glass protection .
Processor: While the Chinese terminal features a 1.3 GHz MTK6572 Dual core CPU and Mali - 400 MP GPU, the BQ features a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7 SoC and PowerVR Series5 SGX graphics chip. Aquaris 5 HD is 1 GB and Voyager's is 512 MB. Both present Android as an operating system, in version 4.2.2. Jelly Bean for DG 300 and version 4.4.2 Jelly Bean for BQ.
Camera: If we talk about the Spain brand, we will say that it has an 8-megapixel main lens with proximity sensor, brightness sensor, Dolby ™ sound technology and autofocus, while the Doogee gives us a 5-megapixel one. Both have an LED flash. As for the front camera, we can say that the Aquaris 5 HD has 1.2 megapixels and the Asian terminal 2 megapixels, allowing us in any case to make video calls or self-photos.
Connectivity: both terminals delight us with very frequent connections in all or almost all smartphones today, such as WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio . 4G / LTE technology is conspicuous by its absence.
Design: The Chinese model features a very similar size of 140.2mm height x 73mm width x 9.4mm thickness. The BQ meanwhile has dimensions of 141.8 mm high x 71 mm wide x 9.1 mm thick and weighs 170 grams. Their housings are made of plastic.
Batteries: the Spain brand with its 2100 mAh surrenders in this sense before the 2500 mAh of capacity presented by the DG 300 battery. Although in principle the difference does not seem very large, if we compare it with the optimization performance of each Smartphone we can say that the Asian model has greater autonomy.
Internal Memory: both devices have a single model for sale in the market, which is 4 GB in the case of the DG 300 and 16 GB if we refer to the Aquaris. They also have in common the fact of being able to expand this memory through microSD cards, reaching up to 32 GB in the case of the Doogee and up to 64 GB in the case of the Aquaris 5 HD.
Availability:
If we take a tour of pc components we can find the Doogee Voyager DG 300 for a price of 85 euros in black or white. The Bq Aquaris 5 HD can be found on its official website for 199.90 euros, starting price. By selling free, we can adapt it to the conditions we have with our operator.
