Designs: The Xiaomi Mi3 has dimensions of 114 mm high x 72 mm wide x 8.1 mm thick. It is made of an ultra-thin aluminum-magnesium alloy, and thanks to its graphite thermal film it achieves better heat dissipation. The American smartphone for its part has 123.8 mm high x 58.5 mm wide x 7.6 mm thick and 112 grams. As for its rear and side casings, they are made of aluminum and stainless steel. The entire front part of the terminal is made up of an oleophobic cover.
Screens: the Xiaomi presents an ultra-sensitive 5-inch with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The iPhone 5 for its part , has a 4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels. Both have IPS technology , which gives them a great viewing angle and very vivid colors. Both terminals use Corning glass to protect against accidents: Gorilla Glass for both.
Processors: iPhone comes with a dual-core Apple 6A chip It works at 1.2 GHz, which will allow us to be up to date in terms of games and applications that will work quickly and smoothly. Its RAM memory is 1 GB and as an operating system it has IOS6. The Chinese model features a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8274AB 4-core processor running at 2.3GHz. Its Adreno 330 graphics chip will allow us to enjoy a great visual experience and better performance. The RAM is 2 GB. Its operating system is MIUI v5, based on Android 4.1 and which has high customization, efficiency and stability.
Cameras: The rear camera of the Xiaomi has a resolution of 13 megapixels and a Sony Exmor RS sensor. And not only that, but it also has a dual Philips LED flash, which improves the intensity of the light by 30%, allowing higher shutter speeds. It has a 2-megapixel wide-angle backlit front camera. The iPhone 5 stays at 8 megapixels, also featuring features such as autofocus and LED flash. Its front lens has 2.1 megapixels, useful for conducting video conferences or the occasional snapshot. Video recording is done at 1080p and 30 fps.
Internal Memories: the two terminals coincide in having a 16 GB and a 64 GB model for sale , although the iPhone 5 also has another 32 GB ROM. Both devices lack the possibility of expansion via microSD.
Connectivity: the two phones have basic connections such as 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, although in the case of the iPhone 5 we also have LTE / 4G support , as is common among high-end smartphones.
Batteries: the 1440 mAh capacity of the iPhone is very, very short next to the 3050 mAh that the Xiaomi Mi3 enjoys, which will undoubtedly give it great autonomy.
Availability and price: the Asian model has a very competitive price in relation to its benefits, being € 299 if we talk about the 16 GB model and € 380 in the case of the 64 GB model. The iPhone 5 is a very expensive terminal: currently it can be found new for an amount that exceeds 500 euros in most cases. However, as with many terminals, we can take advantage of permanence rates offered by our operator.
