Comparison: xiaomi mi3 vs lg g2
Here we have a clash between two titans from different companies that, although they are not the most influential on the market today, offer terminals with excellent features at costs not as high as many other models of recognized prestige, and that little or You have nothing to envy. We are talking about the Xiaomi Mi 3 and the LG G2. Throughout the comparison we will detail each of the specifications of these terminals and that in the end we will check if it is compensated with each of its costs, and if the difference between them is justified. Let's get started !:
Screens: that of the LG model is somewhat larger thanks to its 5.2 inches compared to the 5 inches of the Xiaomi. They do share the same 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and IPS technology, giving them a great viewing angle and high-definition colors. The screen of the two devices have anti-shock protection thanks to the glass manufactured by the Corning company: Gorilla Glass in the case of the Chinese model and Gorilla Glass 2 for the LG G2.
Processors: The same manufacturer takes care of the CPU of both smartphones, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8274AB 4-core 2.3GHz model accompanying the Xiaomi and the 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 that is responsible for the G2. They do present the same graphics chip: Adreno 330, which offers us a great visual experience and better performance. RAM is 2 GB also in both cases. The Mi3 operating system is MIUI v5, based on Android 4.1 and if we refer to the LG G2 we have Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Designs: Regarding size, a very important aspect to know about the manageability of the Xiaomi Mi3, this Smartphone has dimensions of 144 mm high x 73 mm wide x 8.1 mm thick. Especially surprising is the 8.1 mm thickness, as it is very thin considering the battery of this phone. Manufactured in an aluminum-magnesium alloy, it allows an ultra-thin design and thanks to its graphite thermal film it achieves better heat dissipation. The LG G2 is 138.5mm high x 70.9mm wide x 8.9mm thick and weighs 143 grams. Its plastic back cover does not live up to what you would expect from a high-end terminal, but the positive part is that it is joined in perfect metallic harmony with the Gorilla Glass 2 screen.
Batteries: they have practically the same capacity, being 3050 mAh in the case of the Xiaomi and 3000 mAh if we refer to the LG G2. These sizes will grant a very good autonomy to both terminals. However, the use we give to the smartphone (games, videos, etc.) will directly affect it.
Internal Memories: the two phones have a 16 GB model for sale, although in the case of the Chinese smartphone we have another 64 GB on the market, while the LG sells another 32 GB. Neither of these devices supports external memory cards.
Cameras: The Mi3 features a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor RS sensor that also features a dual Philips LED flash, which improves light intensity by 30%, allowing for faster shutter speeds. It has a 2-megapixel wide-angle backlit front camera. The LG G2 for its part also has 13 megapixels, as well as an autofocus function and LED flash. Its front camera has 2.1 megapixels, Very useful for making video calls or profile photos on social networks. The LG G2 also makes video recordings in Full HD 1080p quality .
Connectivity: the two devices have basic connections such as 3G, WiFi or Bluetooth, although we must add that the LG G2 offers LTE / 4G support .
Availability and price: The general evaluation that we can make of the Xiaomi Mi3 is excellent. And is that, taking into account that its price ranges between € 299 for the 16GB model and € 380 for the 64GB model of internal memory, we have a battery and a camera on the phone that we do not find on Smartphone that double the price of East. That it does not have a memory card can put you back a little, but if you opt for the 16 GB model or, if you prefer, for the 64 GB version, you will have enough space to store thousands of photos, songs, programs, movies and series on your Xiaomi Mi3. The LG G2 is also a high-end terminal although much more expensive: if we take a walk around pc components it can be found new and free for an amount of 435 euros in black or white.
