With iCloud, back up

iCloud is Apple's cloud service offered to iOS users. With this you can backup your data and store it directly in your own iDevice, so that it is accessible, via iCloud.com, from anywhere and on any other device that has an Internet connection, such as a Windows PC or Mac OS.

To use it, the user only has to register with the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch , configure the data they want to record in the cloud and access the official page of the service. In it, simply log in with the username and password of the registered Apple account. Therefore, it is possible to access tools again.

Show all icons on iCloud home page: mail, contacts, calendar, notes, reminders, recover iPhone, pages, numbers and Keynote. The operation is different, but its images are very similar because they follow the pattern established in the iOS of itself. For those who buy songs and videos, iTunes backups are performed.

The five main features are fully integrated with your mobile device and display the information stored in the device's homonymous functionality. Users who back up their contacts, emails, notes, reminders, and calendar appointments can also access them in the program.

In these tabs, the operation is very similar: on the right, there is a more colorful menu with navigation options. Next to it, a gray, with its gallery of subcategories. In email, for example, in the first and second boxes are messages displayed within the selected box.

Already in the largest space, always from the center to the left side, the main content appears, such as email messages and annotations. There are also other functions provided by the software. Finding My iPhone, for example, makes users able to find registered devices.

Find lost devices and create documents

Simply access the feature, enter your email and password and a list of devices whose Apple accounts have registered the information will appear. You find it on the map, to know its exact location, beeps to meet it at your house and also block it if it has been stolen.

Last but not least, there is the iWork package, a kind of office that Apple offers its users, with pages (equivalent to the word), numbers (Excel) and Keynote (Powerpoint). All of them are still in beta, but they are functional and the user only needs to touch to open the menus for composing and editing files.

That is, iCloud is (almost) having all the information stored on Apple's mobile devices. If you have an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, just register and take advantage of the benefits it offers.
