Fortnite PC: Minimum requirements and we recommend

We find it strange that Epic Games itself has the minimum requirements so hidden and we recommend the most demanded game of the moment. We have had to pull a few tricks to see them on their website and trust 100% as a source. We believe that it is due to the size of users that the game is having and the future demands in future updates. Although I personally expected a little more transparency from Epic Games.

The minimum requirements are not demanding, and this is one of the keys to its success:

• 2.4 GHz Intel Core i3 processor. 4 GB of RAM. Have at least 25 GB of free hard disk. Integrated graphics card HD4000 or higher. Operating system Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 or Mac OSX Sierra.

While as requirements we recommend we find a configuration that almost any mortal can have on a decent desktop PC:

• 2.8GHz Intel Core i5 processor 8GB RAM Memory 2GB Nvidia GTX 660 / Nvidia GTX 750 Ti graphics card or AMD Radeon 7870 with at least 2GB VRAM memory DirectX 11 or equivalent support Have at least 25GB hard drive free Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 or Mac OSX Sierra operating system.

As we can see it is fully compatible with Windows OS in its last three domestic versions and with MAC, make it a key plus with respect to PUBG. At the moment there is no official support with Linux but we have seen that in some foreign forums they have been able to run without problem with Ubuntu.

Where to download Fortnite PC?

As we have already mentioned Fortnite is a free game , for this reason you never pay to download it. It is probably a scam to get you a few euros or the application directly contains a virus. And that's not what we want, right? The best thing is that you go to the official website and download the launcher to download.

What we are going to say seems very evident to us, but sometimes we do not take it into account and the anxieties take over, before using common logic. First try the game on your current PC or laptop for two clear reasons:

We have chosen an Intel Core i5 9400f processor with six physical and logical cores, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, a B360 microATX motherboard that will cover all our needs (it has heatsinks, improved sound and enough rear connections) and a low cost heatsink to maintain Keep processor temperatures at bay at all times.

At the graphic level we have opted for a 2 GB Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU signed by Gigabyte and which will cover all the demands of Fortnite in high requirements. At the storage level, we have chosen a combination of 250 GB SSD for the most important operating system, games and applications and a 1 TB hard drive to store all our information.

Finally, we highlight the Corsair Carbide SPEC-05 box that has been recently launched and that has a breakthrough price. Regarding the power supply, we have chosen a quality / price such as the Corsair CX550 with 80 Plus Bronze certification and 550W of power.

To adjust the price somewhat we have selected the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with a B450 motherboard in ATX format. We have thrown the house out of the window and have chosen 16GB of RAM, a 480GB SSD, a 2TB hard drive and Corsair H60 liquid cooling with a 120mm radiator.

This time we have changed the box for a Corsair 275R that you have in white (beautiful) or in black. While the power supply we have seen as the best alternative to the Corsair TX550M with 80 PLUS Gold certificate and semi-modular system.

For more power for a couple of years we have chosen the 6GB Gigabyte GTX 1660 SUPER Windforce. With this graphics card we can play perfectly in Full HD to Ultra and in 2560 x 1440p without any problem.

In short, we are facing a team pass! We believe that it meets the needs of any user and a wide variety of high-demand games: Unknown Player Battleground, Jurassic World Evolve, Doom 4 or The Witcher 3.
