Processor, motherboard and RAM memory

In both cases, the RAM is 16GB, and we have chosen a Corsair Vengeance LPX kit of 2x8GB at 3000MHz, of very good quality and that works in dual channel.

AMD option

We opted for the AMD Ryzen 5 3600X as an excellent option for productivity tasks such as video or photo editing, streaming, and it is also very competent to play “without further ado”, but in this last aspect it remains somewhat far from Intel.

Intel option

This option is more recommended for those who will only use the equipment to play, although at the time of writing the article, the high prices of Intel make it more difficult to advise it. If this situation changes and the price of the 8600K is more similar to that of the 3600X, it would seem to us a much more recommended option.

The best Mono-core performance, with the ability to improve it even more with OCE The best performance in games. With integrated graphics card, enough for multimedia.

For this budget, we are again betting on a Gigabyte board, in this case the Z390 UD which has seemed very balanced between the entire range of Z370 and Z390, although we know that it does not achieve the benefits of the one chosen in the AMD option.

Graphic card

For both cases, we have chosen an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 6GB super graphics card from the EVGA assembler. It is a model at a good price, very fresh and of great quality.

Will we update the budget as new more competent GPUs come out?

Additionally, there is a very competent alternative to this 1660 super with slightly higher power (although it consumes more energy) and with greater VRAM. This is the RTX 2060 without the term SUPER that we highly recommend.

Which to choose? Honestly, the cheapest one seems to us the most convenient, and we must bear in mind that both have Ray Tracing technology , there are very good, beautiful and cheap monitors with this technology and they are a great combo to play.

Power, storage and box

The power supply is a component that should not be spared and less on a budget as large as this. We have opted for the Be Quiet Pure Power 11 500W, a model that, despite its low price, impresses with its 80 Plus Gold certification, extremely quiet operation, good range of protections, great internal quality and a 5-year warranty. It is used for almost any Mono-GPU configuration that we want to incorporate in the future, although for little more we have the Antec HCG Gold 650W that we incorporate in higher budgets, with a 10-year warranty and more power.

In storage we incorporate a 250GB Samsung 860 EVO SSD and a Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD. The solid state drive will help speed up the operating system and give you great fluidity. We have not opted for an NVMe option since this budget is focused on gaming and these units offer no real advantage in this regard.

As a reasonable but budget-friendly alternative, you are replacing the SSD + HDD with a single 1TB SSD. With this we achieve a very high speed and an impressive silence, because the mechanical hard drives make a lot of noise.

In the case of increasing the budget to use only SSD, if you are determined to obtain the maximum silence, you would also have to incorporate a heatsink that includes a fan of extreme quality and minimum noise, without a doubt the Arctic Freezer Esports One would be a great ally.

The budget as we propose it is not noisy… but if you want it to be almost INAUDIBLE we recommend these last two updates.

Finally, the box is the Corsair Carbide 275R with tempered glass. We chose it for its not too excessive price and its very good quality that we could corroborate in our review. It also seems beautiful to us and can be bought in black or white.
