Processor, motherboard and RAM memory

AMD option

The AMD Ryzen 7 3700X is an excellent choice for productivity tasks such as video or photo editing, streaming, and it is also very competent to play, but in this last aspect it is somewhat far from Intel.

The motherboard chosen for this budget is the ASUS PRIME X570-P, a model of excellent quality with very good VRMs and extensive connectivity and great memory compatibility. It is the cheapest model and comes somewhat limited, versus motherboards of 500 or 700 euros. It was obvious, right?

Intel option

This option is more recommended for those who are only going to use the equipment to play, although at the time of writing the article, the high prices of Intel make it more difficult to advise it. If this situation changes and the price of the Intel Core i7-9700K is more similar to that of the 3700X, it would seem to us a much more recommended option.

In both cases, the chosen graphics card is an excellent NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 from a good assembler, a model with a very good value for money. The assembler also offers a 3 year warranty, and the cooling capabilities and overall quality is very good.

Power, storage and box

The power supply is a component that should not be spared and less on a budget as large as this. We have chosen the Antec HCG Gold 650W, a model that, as we verified in our review, enjoys top quality. It is 100% modular, internally it is manufactured by Seasonic with TOP components, silent, and is backed by a 10 year warranty. The power exceeds even to incorporate a second graphics card that allows it ( although we do not recommend this because the performance of the SLI is usually quite poor ).

In storage we incorporate a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD and a Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD. The solid state drive will help speed up the operating system and give you great fluidity. We have not opted for an NVMe option since this budget is focused on gaming and these units offer no real advantage in this regard. What would be very advantageous is to upgrade to the NVME 970 EVO PLUS version, since that reading and writing capacity is much better.

Finally, the box is the Fractal Design Meshify C with tempered glass. It is a model that oozes quality, functionality and cooling capacities with a very interesting aesthetic. It is one of the few open-front upper-mid-range models available.
