Cooler master prepares a kinetic cooling sink

Anonim

We are used to seeing and using large heatsinks with built-in fans that offer great performance by cooling our processors, however we may see new heatsinks on our much smaller, fanless PCs.

Cooler Master is working on what they have called “Kinetic Cooling Engine” that we could translate as a kinetic cooling motor and it is a new heatsink that works without fans. This type of heatsinks is based on two metal pieces being one inside the other. the interior part has aluminum fins and rotates, thanks to which it is possible to expel the heat absorbed by the heatsink without the need for fans. Cooloer Master claims that these types of systems are 50% more efficient than current fan heatsinks and are much smaller in size, being especially useful on notebooks.

It is still in the development stage so it will take time to have them in our systems.
