Gigabyte is preparing a new refrigerated hybrid graphics card, based on NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 2080. This is the Aorus RTX 2080 WaterForce (GV-N2080AORUSX W-8GC).

Aorus RTX 2080 WaterForce uses AIO liquid cooling with 240mm radiator

The graphics card uses an all-in-one design based on a 240mm radiator liquid cooler. The copper motherboard is quite large and receives heat from the VRM cards through a copper heat pipe, thus cooling all major components. Of course, the fans are equipped with RGB LEDs, which goes with the illuminated translucent wing of the deck. In general, it is an attractive card, but also a large one.

Gigabyte takes advantage of liquid cooling to equip the graphics card with an interesting overclock, reaching 1890 MHz. Memory speeds also come with an increase of 140 MHz, which pushes the total memory clock speed up to 14140 MHz. The phase design is 12 + 2 and has dual 8-pin power connectors. The display connectivity is also the same as that of the other models and includes: 3 DisplayPort ports, 3 HDMI ports and a single USB TypeC.

The new Gigabyte model codenamed RTX 2080 Aorus Xtreme WaterForce (GV-N2080AORUSX W-8GC) is a hybrid solution for those seeking the best performance without the need for custom liquid cooling.

At the moment we do not know its price or release date, but we can be sure that we will know 'very soon'.
