Core i5 2500K faces a processor six generations above

On the other side of the ring, we have the Pentium G5600 with a dual-core, four-wire configuration under the Kaby Lake 3.9 GHz architecture. This last processor has the disadvantage of having two less cores than its rival, although it is capable of handling four threads and is based on an architecture that is six generations above, with all the improvements that this implies.
The tests in games put the Core i5 2500K above the Pentium G5600, the difference is not very great, but it is still very commendable to see a processor from seven years ago standing up and surpassing a current one. This makes it clear that the Core i5 2500K was an excellent investment at the time, since seven years later it is still capable of offering a lot of high quality game, it is more than clear that Sandy Bridge refuses to die and with a little overclocking it is able to continue doing great things today.
