After Gigabyte, it is now Corsair's turn to present an M.2 SSD. Able to take advantage of the PCI Express 4.0 interface found on AMD X570 platforms. Corsair's new toy is called Force MP600.

Corsair MP600 achieves read and write speeds of 4950 MB / s and 4, 250 MB / s respectively

PCIe 4.0 has arrived with force, now that X570 motherboards have confirmed their support, plenty of SSDs have been announced trying to take advantage of that additional bandwidth, with very high read and write speeds.

Corsair's new toy is called Force MP600. It is an SSD drive in M.2 format. 2280 which is encapsulated in a heat sink to keep components cool, including NAND Flash chips and controller. And by the way, the MP600 comes with 3D NAND TLC flash memory and a Phison PS5016-E16 controller.

According to Corsair, the MP600 can achieve speeds of 4, 950 MB / s in reading and 4, 250 MB / s in writing. The number of iOPS is not specified in the read / write of 4K files. These speeds seem to be the standard of almost all SSDs in M.2 format with PCIe 4.0, a notable improvement over those SSDs with PCIe 3.0 interface, of which we got to see maximum speeds of 3500 MB / s, like in the Samsung 970 PRO.

The MP600 will be available this summer as confirmed. Its price is unknown but its guarantee will be five years.
