In the United States, the Intel 660p 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 NVMe drive is priced at $ 99.99 at Newegg, though it's not generally counted as a premium solid-state drive. Its 2TB variant is priced at $ 192 on the same site. Almost all customer segment PCIe gen 4.0 SSDs that have been released so far are based on the new Phison PS5016-E16 controller. This will probably make prices higher than usual, at the cost of higher speeds.
