Corsair Force LE: unboxing and design

Corsair makes a very good presentation of its 480GB Corsair Force LE SSD. On the cover they illustrate us with an image of the album, where they also indicate its capacity and its three-year warranty. On the back we have all the technical characteristics of the SSD disk.

The Corsair Force LE is elegantly designed using the corporate colors black and yellow. Its format is 2.5 inches and it is 7 mm thick. It incorporates SATA III connectivity and a weight that ranges from 40 grams.

Among its technical specifications we find a Pishon PS3110-S10C controller and NAND memory chips that make a total of 480 GB, it is also controlled by a cache from the Nanyia brand.

The 480 GB Corsair Force LE achieves a reading of 560 MB / s and a writing of 530 MB / s. On the 4KB Random reading we have 83K IOPS and one in writing of 55K IOPS, there we already see a small drop compared to the Corsair Neutron XT range that we analyzed in the last course. Its consumption ranges from 2 to 3W.

Final words and conclusion about Corsair Force LE

Corsair has done a great job with its new line of Corsair Force LE drives with three sizes available: 240GB, 480GB and 960GB with SATA III interface. Having a reading of 560 MB / s and a writing of 530 MB / S.

Its design is very appropriate to have a metal structure to better dissipate all its internal components. As we have seen in our tests, its performance is as promised and it offers us a 3-year warranty. Currently you can find in online stores from 82 euros the most basic model up to 360 euros the 1TB model. If you dare to buy, it will become a great purchase.
