The design of the Corsair H2100 are very similar to the Corsair H2000 Vengeance that we analyzed at the time, and the great advantage with respect to these is that they are completely wireless and with a coverage of up to 10 meters via Wi-Fi on your PC, in addition to having a lighter weight over 300 grams. We have talked about its coverage range of 10 meters but this is only compatible with your computer, but if you want to use it with your HI-FI equipment it is not.

Comfort is the order of the day in the Corsair H2100 with the excellent headband and ear pads on each 50mm headphone adjustable in any direction and accommodating every situation. Although the advertising marks that it is a 7.1 system (CM6302 C-Media chip) it really sounds like 7 + 1 to the speakers and a subwoofer and the effect is quite successful. For a simulated system it sounds really good with good bass, treble and dynamic range.

The ear cushions are very comfortable, they don't make us sweat when we are wearing them and they help reduce "headphone fatigue", which is essential if you play competitively or just enjoy playing for hours on end. It is that this only found him with teams of 300 euros onwards, so he beat for the Corsair team.

I return to the headband as in the H1500 and V2100 models, the padding is more improved and its new adjustment design resists shocks much better, if we drop it to the ground there is less chance of it fracturing.

The microphone is very practical if we need to use it we lower it. If on the contrary we need a little rest, we raise it to the top and these are silenced. It also has an external noise cancellation system, so we will have a clean sound while we play and use teamspeak or skype.

As a good wireless helmet, it is recharged by a small battery that offers us several hours of intensive use, and these are recharged with a micro USB connection. The system is very simple to recharge: If it is red: It needs recharging, if it is flashing red, it is at 10%, and if it appears in green, it is at maximum load, that is, simplicity at its best.

My experience with helmets can be divided:

Listening to music: the quality to be a gamer helmet is very good, with a very clear sound, amazing bass, treble and dynamic range. Multimedia: listening to series and movies I have felt very comfortable. I did a couple of 3 hour marathons and I didn't have any kind of fatigue or sweat when wearing it.Games: This is where I liked the most. Playing Battlfield 4, Crysis 3 or ARK Survival Evolved the results have been exquisite, it was noticeable the difference with other helmets, since he listened to the footsteps of the other companions.

I love the microphone since it is foldable, activating / deactivating as we see fit by simply moving it up or down. It also has unidirectional noise cancellation that prevents the entrance of external sound. Good job!

The software is very successful and brings what is necessary to get the most out of these helmets. Almost none but we can get these helmets out…
